Mr De’Ath is Waiting in the Wings!

Mr De’Ath is Waiting in the Wings! Why not start the New Year with an array of fantastical characters, music and dance. Brought to you by Caerphilly’s own County Youth Theatre, ‘Mr De’Ath’, the groups new devised performance, will be on the Blackwood Miners’ Institute stage on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th January at 7pm and tickets are FREE!

The County Youth Theatre is a project created by the CCBC Arts Development Team, which aims to provide young people aged 14-19 years old with the chance to develop their performance skills and provide a platform for them to showcase their talents, with performances such as Mr De’Ath.

The Youth Theatre Director, Tony Gallagher explained;

‘Full credit for this project must go to the members of the Youth Theatre, who have devised this fast pace play making many of the creative decisions. ‘Mr. De’Ath’ is a mix of genres, while not a musical per se, it does contain both song and dance but surrounded by a somewhat dark and surreal setting and of course, it comes with the added ingredient of romance.’

So, why don’t you let some of Caerphilly’s up and coming young performers help brighten up your new year with this FREE performance which is guaranteed to put a smile on you face and have you wanting to dance in the aisles!

To get your FREE tickets for you, your family and friends call the box office now on 01495 227206, or come along on the night.
