EIRLYS BELLIN: REALITY CHECK
|
When Cowbridge girl, Eirlys Bellin (Funny Women semi finalist 2006) auditioned for reality TV shows in character as shameless Welsh celebrity wannabe Rhian Davies, she attracted the interests of the London media, and even prompted an invitation to appear on Trisha. For Eirlys’ solo debut, she brings this undercover journey to life, along with the characters she really met along the way, with direction from We Are Klang’s Logan Murray and short films by Scottish BAFTA award winner, Amy Neil. Supported by an Arts Council of Wales National Lottery Grant.
Eirlys Bellin was a semi-finalist in the Funny Women Awards 2006 and performs regularly in London’s premier character comedy show, Something For The Weekend. She has also appeared in Dr Who (BBC), Pobol Y Cwm (BBC for S4C), A470 (ITV Wales) and a number of BBC Radio 4 and BBC Radio Wales dramas.
