Experience some awesome contemporary dance moves on Tuesday 13 June at 7.30pm, when EDge, the Postgraduate Performance Company of London Contemporary Dance School will be performing at The Riverfront. EDge is Newport’s contribution to Horizons, the South Wales Dance Festival 2006. This vibrant new programme includes a lively new work by Sue MacLennan, Head of postgraduate choreography at LCDS, as well as two acclaimed pieces by Siobhan Davies and Trisha Brown. The dancers will also present the Leche Commissions, a groundbreaking series of duets and trios commissioned from four new choreographers. The Leche Commissions will be a rare and unique opportunity to see work by the dancers and dance-makers of tomorrow, in stunning short performances of their own creation.
