Witch Child

Witch Child
Adapted by Derek Cobley and Tonya Smith from the novel by Celia Rees

Witch Child tracks a young girl's encounter with fanaticism and hatred in 17th century England and America, as she flees persecution on one continent, only to find it thriving in the New World.

Witch Child begins its National tour of Wales at the Taliesin Arts Centre, Swansea on Thursday 27th October. Box Office 01792 60 20 60.

Following the huge success of its premiere performance in 2004, Taliesin Arts Centre takes this absorbing and intimate adaptation of the best-selling novel across Wales.

Acclaimed author Celia Rees has reinvented the historical novel for 21st century young people and Witch Child has become a popular bestseller since its publication by Bloomsbury.

Equally suitable for adults and anyone over 11years.

'...this is as gripping and resonant a piece of live theatre as one could
ever wish to see.' Western Mail
