Canfod iār i David!

Wrth i griw Porc Peis Bach baratoi i lwyfannu byd doniol a digri pentref Llanllewyn am y tro cyntaf erioed, mae’r paratoadau yn mynd rhagddynt i sicrhau y bydd sioe lwyfan Porc Peis Bach, O Diar! yn Theatr Gwynedd yn ystod wythnos yr Eisteddfod Genedlaethol (30 Gorffennaf - 6 Awst 2005) yn achlysur bythgofiadwy! Serch hynny, mae un broblem fechan… mae iâr David Ailsworth wedi mynd ar grwydr, ac mae Theatr Bara Caws ar dân i ganfod un arall!

Dywedodd Linda Brown o Theatr Bara Caws, “Heb yr iâr, mae David druan yn anghyflawn. Dydi o byth i’w weld hebddi ac mae hi’n seren ar ei liwt ei hun! Os ydych chi’n credu fod gennych chi iâr i gymryd ei lle, yna gyrrwch hi am glyweliad! Rydym yn awyddus i ganfod iâr gyda’r ffactor X hollbwysig, ond heb fod yn ddifa – neu’n ddifiâr – diolch yn fawr! Rydym yn addo edrych ar ei hôl hi’n well na Jennifer Lopez y tu ôl i’r llen!”

Valmai Jones, sy’n chwarae rhan Miss World yng nghyfres deledu boblogaidd S4C, fydd yn cyfarwyddo’r sioe tra bydd y cast yn cynnwys rhai o wynebau mwyaf cyfarwydd Cymru, yn eu mysg Eilir Jones, Mari Gwilym, Dyfed Tomos, Morfudd Hughes, Siân Wheldon, Sara Harris Davies a Dafydd Emyr. Ac wrth gwrs, bydd Siôn Trystan ac Anwen Ellis, sydd wedi chwarae rhannau Kenneth a Helen gydol y gyfres deledu, hefyd yn ymuno â’r cast yn Theatr Gwynedd.

Gyda thros hanner y tocynnau eisoes wedi eu gwerthu, a chyda mis yn unig yn weddill cyn y noson agoriadol, archebwch eich tocynnau ar fyrder i osgoi cael eich siomi. Archebwch eich tocynnau tros y ffôn trwy gysylltu â’r swyddfa docynnau ar:

Help us find a hen for David!

As the Porc Peis Bach cast prepare to put the madcap world of Llanllewyn on stage for the very first time, preparation are well on track to make O Diar! The Porc Peis Bach stage show at Theatr Gwynedd during the National Eisteddfod week (30 July – 6 August 2005) an event to remember. However, there’s just one problem…David Ailsworth’s hen has gone walkabout, and Theatr Bara Caws are desperate to get hold of another one!

Linda Brown of Theatr Bara Caws said, “Without the hen, David is incomplete, he’s never seen without her, and she’s a star in her own right! If you think your hen may have the talent to tread the boards, then send her along for an audition! We’re on the lookout for that X factor, but we don’t want any diva behaviour thankyou! We promise she’ll be looked after backstage better than Jennifer Lopez!”

Valmai Jones, who plays Miss World in the popular S4C series, will direct the show and the cast will include some of Wales’ most familiar faces, including Eilir Jones, Mari Gwilym, Dyfed Tomos, Morfudd Hughes, Sian Wheldon, Sara Harries Davies and Dafydd Emyr. Sion Trystan and Anwen Ellis, who have played the parts of Kenneth and Helen in the television series since the very beginning will also join the cast at Theatr Gwynedd.

With over half the tickets already sold, and only a month to go ‘til opening night, book your tickets early to avoid disappointment. Purchase tickets over the phone by giving the box office a ring on:
