YOU WERE THERE!

“You Were There” directed by Damian Robinson, is to be performed at the Dolman Theatre Newport on the 22nd of March 2005 at 7:15 pm. The show is in aid of “Orchid Cancer Relief” who raise money for male cancer care and research. Also, £1 from every ticket sold will go to the Tsunami Appeal.
The cast includes 10 performers, many of whom have recently graduated from a top drama school in the country, or are local performers who star in many shows at the Dolman and Congress theatres throughout the year. Also, many have worked in the west end and film business.
The show is a great night of new and nearly new musical theatre, which have been composed throughout the last few years.
Damian Robinson who directs and also performs in the show, last performed at the Dolman Theatre in “Fame The Musical” as Tyrone Jackson, before heading to London to attend the Arts Educational School of Musical Theatre. He also played Adrian Mole at the Sherman Theatre and Jesus in “Godspell” at Blackwood Miners Institute. He has now brought many friends who he has met along the way, from London to Wales to perform in this great night of Musical Theatre, for what will not just be a great night of entertainment but will raise money for TWO Fantastic Causes!
